The world of Visual Arts by LuisMartinFlores
Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities, where the journey is as exhilarating as the destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
Different Perspectives Series
Embracing different perspectives and diverse viewpoints also provides individuals with the chance to challenge their prejudices. People are exposed to fresh knowledge that may contradict their preconceived beliefs and ideas, and they are also able to counteract their biases. Exposure to new information can challenge preconceived notions and opinions. This can assist them in identifying their prejudices and revising the way they perceive various social groups and
concepts, and they can reconsider how they think about people and ideas.

It is Nature (2024)

Childhood in 2023
Soft Pastels on Paper. 40” (1 m) by 26” (70 cm)
My Statement is simple: I make this painting based on what I see from my kids. Childhood in 2023 seems strange to me, with all the screens pointed at our kids like the parents they prefer. I look at them like strangers with this bizarre behavior on their hands and evil force: computers, tablets, or any screen.
I wonder how they look at me, and I hope I am not that stranger to them.

Different Perspectives
(2023) Soft Pastels on Paper. 26” (70 cm) by 40” (1 m)
I make this piece by thinking about different possibilities. Possibilities for the viewer to understand what different paths they could have and take. Also, the subjects could have different perspectives on life based on what they have and where they can go; the future, past, and present could change depending on how we face and confront our situations. We should move forward to a great life if we all have the same opportunities. But unfortunately, in reality, not all of us have the same chances.

Dome Kids (2022)
Soft Pastels on Paper. 40” (1 m) by 26” (70 cm)
This painting is as dark as the reality we are facing with our kids, with white areas to try to keep it on another dimension far away. Could it be possible that all our kids are Domed? The beginning of video games could be excellent entertainment; unfortunately, the exploitation of miserable multi-corporations like Google, Facebook, Apple, Nintendo, and others makes us simple users that we cannot escape. I question if my kids are Dome or if they could escape the screen addiction of reality.
